This month marks the one-year anniversary of Living Life Force – a dream inspired
by the power of touch. Karen Robinson started the business as a desire to help others benefit from the healing touch of massage.
Now she’s expanding with the assistance of two other therapists. Her goal is to develop a group of massage therapists
of like minds with the intention to heal people and guide them to better health thru teaching, supplements and the art of
massage.
Karen Robinson suffered with chronic back pain after a car accident in 1997. She tried everything the doctor suggested
but balked at the suggestion of cortisone injections. As a last resort, Robinson tried massage therapy and that decision changed
her life. The non-invasive treatments helped Robinson return to her normal activities without pain. As a result she wanted
to ‘pay it forward’ and give back what she got. Robinson attended Massage Therapy school, graduating at the top
of her class.
"The power of touch was overwhelming" according to Robinson, "massage appears simple but it’s very powerful." Her
treatments ended in June of 1998 and by January of the next year Robinson was enrolled in massage therapy school. She received
her license in 2000. Karen says "I am amazed at how wonderfully miraculous the body is. It has this incredible desire to be
well and given the right tools and with time it will heal."
Robinson specializes in relaxation, neuromuscular, myofascial release, sports massage, deep tissue and injury rehabilitation.
Her massage suite is within the offices of Ashton Personal Fitness in Clearwater. When you
enter the room it’s like a soothing wash of comfort. The massage table is draped with sheeting in the middle of the
room- surrounded by an oriental feel, dim lighting and soft melodic music. With over over 10,000 hours of hands-on experience
you can feel the confidence and healing in her hands.
She is certified, licensed and was recently named to the Who’s Who of Massage Therapists. In addition to seven years
of Massage Therapy, she has ten years experience in Human Resources and another ten in Business Marketing.
Robinson says she’s passionate about massage and her goal is to educate people about the power of touch.
